Bungalow and Baby

First comes love, then comes marriage.... We bought our 1926 bungalow in March 2005 and spent the last year updating and restoring the house. In January 2006 we found out we are expecting our first child in September 2006. Shhh! Don't tell Seattle and Madison.

Here Kitty, Kitty

We found a little stray kitten last week on the street by our backyard. She meowed so pitfully and came right up to Jennifer. At 8 weeks old and 2.5 pounds she already thinks she's in charge of the house. She gets along with Madison and Seattle but puts them in their place if they get too close.

A rescue group said they would find her a home if we foster her for a week or two. She spends her day napping on the warm computer modem while Jennifer works.

Nursery in progress!

The nursery is getting cuter and cuter. Scott did a fantastic job building the bookcase and built in. Still have to finish the built in, paint the ceiling and add crown molding. Wonder if Scott would have worked this hard if we were having a baby girl :-).

25 weeks today and feeling great. Baby J is 13.5 inches long and weighs about 1.5 lbs. He is kicking up a storm because he has so much room, but soon his quarters will get very cramped.
