Bungalow and Baby

First comes love, then comes marriage.... We bought our 1926 bungalow in March 2005 and spent the last year updating and restoring the house. In January 2006 we found out we are expecting our first child in September 2006. Shhh! Don't tell Seattle and Madison.

Spring is here!

Well it has been here if Florida for awhile. My beautiful roses and cana liles are in full bloom.

Hit the 17 week mark in my pregnancy today. Baby is 5.5 inches and weights 7 ozs. Grow baby, grow!

Happy Easter everyone. Scott and I will be working on, what else the house and shed this weekend.

Welcome to our blog!

Our big project right now is getting the shed built in the backyard. Currently the spare bedroom aka the nursery is used as a storage shed for all our tools. The orginial slab is still intact in the backyard - apparently the orginial shed was condemmed by the city and had to be torn down.

Scott is working hard drawing up the plans and making sure we have everything we need to apply for a variance. All new sheds/garages have to be several feet off the property line but we are hoping since the orginial slab is intact and we are restoring the house to its orginial condition the variance will be granted.

Nothing new with Mom and Baby. Starting to feel a few flutters and movements and am looking forward to really feel the baby kicking.

Some before and after pictures of our backyard:
